1. Junior starters and Beginners

Junior starters and Beginners groups. All riders must be from 6 years old and have completed at least 1 private lessons at LDEC before they can join a group lesson. Junior starters groups have max 3 riders, so riders can develop their confidence and skills. Beginner groups are aprox 6 riders. The Stable management and groom time helps develop a confidence and understanding of the pony along with learning the skills to groom and tack up before their riding. Sept/Oct term 8 weeks. Deposit €100, balance €160 to be paid on first day of term at the centre. Please note Class day/time may be subject to change if necessary or if we feel this is not the correct group for your child we will notify you with other suitable options.

Level 2 group lessons. Sept/Oct term

Improver riders, group lessons, 1 hour duration. All riders must be from 7 years old and have completed at least 1 private lessons at LDEC before they can join a group lesson. Level 3 group lessons.. Sept/Oct term

Level 3 Novice riders, Ride only or Groom & Ride group lessons, 1 hour duration. Improver riders should have a good position, be confident in rising trot and able to control their pony in walk, trot and canter. The stable management and groom time helps develop a confidence and understanding of the pony along with learning the skills to groom and tack up before their riding. All new riders to LDEC must have completed a few private lessons at LDEC to access their level before they can join a group lesson.Sept/Oct term 8 weeks. Deposit €100 per booking, with balance €160 paid on first day of term at the centre. Please note Class day/time may be subject to change if necessary or if we feel this is not the correct group for your child we will notify you with other suitable options.

Level 4 Advanced Novice riders, 1 hour duration. Advanced Novice riders should have a good position, be confident in rising trot, Canter and hold a good position while jumping. All new riders to LDEC must have completed a private lesson at LDEC to be assessed before they can join a group lesson. Sept/Oct term 8 weeks. Deposit €100, balance €160 to be paid on first day of term at the centre. Please note Class day/time may be subject to change if necessary or if we feel this is not the correct group for your child we will notify you with other suitable options.
