September 2025 Group Lessons

LDEC Group lessons will start back September 3rd. Enrolments are open. Any new riders to LDEC must have completed a private assessment lesson before they can join a group. Private lessons will run throughout the summer and can be booked under PRIVATE LESSON BOOKINGS. If you are not sure which is the best group to join please text LDEC on 085 2637525 and we will advise you. Looking forward to seeing you all then.

LDEC Saddle Club 🐴❤️

Saddle Club is for LDEC pony mad kids to enjoy extra time with the ponies and make lots of new friends. At club we spend time grooming, tacking, feeding and Riding ,playing mounted games, bare back, Obstacle courses etc . We run on alternative Saturdays Junior under 12's and Senior over 12's. This year we have added a new Mini Saddle club for our younger riders so they too can enjoy all the fun of saddle club. To register to get on the text list to be notified of the next club day text your jockeys name and LDEC class time to 085 2637525

NEW Little Rascals Saddle Club

NEW Little Rascals Saddle Club has been added to our schedule for our mini Jockeys eager to get in on the fun of Saddle club. All our little jockeys from 7 years old can join Little Rascals Saddle club and enjoy extra time with the ponies and make lots of new friends. At club we spend time grooming, tacking, feeding and Riding ,playing mounted games, bare back, Obstacle courses etc

1. Junior starters and Beginners

Junior starters and Beginners groups. All riders must be from 6 years old and have completed at least 1 private lessons at LDEC before they can join a group lesson. Junior starters groups have max 3 riders, so riders can develop their confidence and skills. Beginner groups are aprox 6 riders. The Stable management and groom time helps develop a confidence and understanding of the pony along with learning the skills to groom and tack up before their riding. Sept/Oct term 9 weeks. Deposit €100, balance €170 to be paid on first day of term at the centre. Please note Class day/time may be subject to change if necessary or if we feel this is not the correct group for your child we will notify you with other suitable options.

2. Improvers group lessons.. Sept/Oct term

Improver riders, Ride only or Groom & Ride group lessons, 1 hour duration. Improver riders should have a good position, be confident in rising trot and able to control their pony in walk and trot, starting cantering. The stable management and groom time helps develop a confidence and understanding of the pony along with learning the skills to groom and tack up before their riding. All new riders to LDEC must have completed a few private lessons at LDEC to access their level before they can join a group lesson.Sept/Oct term 9 weeks. Deposit €100 per booking, with balance €170 paid on first day of term at the centre. Please note Class day/time may be subject to change if necessary or if we feel this is not the correct group for your child we will notify you with other suitable options.
