Flatwork, Polework and Jumping with Mandi King at Cloncaw Equestrian Saturday 30th March 2024
To provide an opportunity for all levels of rider to improve with either a flatwork/polework session or improve your accuracy over a course of show jumps by improving rhythm and straightness and gaining confidence. Max 4 per group. Supported by the AIRC Regional Training Bursary. Please Note: If you are not a member of a club based in the North East Region and wish to apply to attend this training, please contact northeastregion@airc.ie to apply to our waiting list, as NER members will be given priority to attend. No refunds after close of registration. Note entries are not open for this event.

NER Dressage Through the Eyes of the Judge with Bernie Foley & Jane Whitaker at The National Sports Arena
Supported by the AIRC Regional Training Bursary. - Dressage Test Training with Bernie Foley (DI List Judge 2a) & Jane Whitaker (DI List 2 judge) Format: 30min sessions during which participants will ride a test of their choice, get feedback & tips on how to improve movements and scores. The trainer will then guide them through their test for a second time. Preference will be given to members of NER clubs. No refunds after Wednesday 5th July. Note entries are not open for this event.

Prizes for league classes at final only * No open classes at final (apart from Walk/Trot) * Entries close 1pm Thursday prior to show * Times published 8pm on Thursdays * Entry fee €20 per class. Practice over a full Handy Horse course and learn the ways of Handy Horse in preparation for the AIRC Festival and NER Festival this year. Preference will be given to members of NER clubs. INTRO TO SPORT PSYCHOLOGY FOR EQUESTRIAN SPORT WITH DR AOIFE QUINN
Subsidised by the AIRC Training Bursary. Do you want to maximise your performance and enjoyment with your horse? Join Dr Aoife Quinn for an introduction to sport psychology for equestrian sport. This interactive online workshop will look at topics including confidence and anxiety along with helpful tips and tricks to help you perform at your best no matter the occasion. Dr Aoife Quinn completed a BA in Psychology at Maynooth University followed by a PhD at the School of Psychology at UCD. Aoife is Dean of Psychology at City Colleges and is a psychology tutor with Dublin City University. She also runs a private sport and performance psychology practice and sees clients from a range of settings including sport and the corporate world www.drquinn.ie/contact@drquinn.ie.
