Dungarvan Agricultural Show 2024

This year Dungarvan Show celebrates 105 years in existence. There is a great interest in Trade Stands and a new addition to the Show is the inclusion of an Artisan Products marquee where local artisan producers can display their products. A Wellness marquee is also added to this year's Show. Talks/ Demonstrations on Yoga, Nutrition etc will take place throughout the day. The Truck Show will not be present and there will be improved parking facilities. All in all a great day out for everyone.

New Classes at Dungarvan Show in the Horse & Pony Section 2024

Ladies Hunter Side Saddle Class - affiliated to Side Saddle Ireland Junior Side Saddle Class - affiliated to Side Saddle Ireland Ridden Registered Irish Draught Class - Must have RID passports available for inspection Special Prize for best Thoroughbred in Horse Working Hunter Classes - Passports must be available for inspection Ridden Registered Connemara Class.. Riders aged 10 years on 1 Jan 2024 and under 16 years Registered Connemara Working Hunter Class. Riders aged 10 years on 1 Jan 2024. The 1st & 2nd placed competitors in Classes 27-32 qualify for the IPS Summer Championships in Mullingar Equestrian Centre on July 31st and Aug 1st.

ISA & Kilgarvan Show Society Munster Dog Championship qualifier. Small Dog any Breed - Large Dog any Breed - Exhibitors need not be resident in Munster - One dog from each class qualifies. Entries will be taken on the day

Best Puppy under 6 months - Best Juvenile Dog 6-12 months - Best Small Dog - Best Large Dog - Best Rescue Dog - Best Terrier - Best Gun Dog - Best Groomed Dog - Waggiest Tail - Best Trick - Fancy Dress. Championship - Winners from Class 1-7 to be judged for Overall Show Champion and Reserve Show Champion. Qualifiers for the ISA & Kilgarvan Show Society Munster Dog Championship will be selected from Classes 1-7.

Dungarvan Show Cattle section 2025The 105th running of Dungarvan Agricultural Show will take place in Ballygagin Dungarvan on Sunday 14th July. Events include Horse & Pony Classes, Showjumping, Cattle Classes, Sheep Classes, , Dog Show, Home Industries classes for Flower Arranging, Fruit & Vegetables, Jams, Homemade Cakes, Adult & Junior Art & Crafts, Photography. An Artisan Marquee and Wellness tent will also be on site. Lots of Entertainment for Kids and Adults including Line Dancing & Music. Vintage Cars & Tractors and Tractor Pulling. There will be a huge array of Trade Stands. Note entries are not open for this event.
