The RYA Powerboat LEVEL 2 a two day practical and theory training program on the 19th & 26th April. This training is designed to equip participants with essential skills for safe powerboating. Note entries are not open for this event.

Training – Outboard engine introduction, operation and maintenance. A short two-hour introductory course on outboard use and maintenance is to be held on 25 April 2026 at the club shed. Applications to attend at a cost of £5 are invited . The course will run from 10:00 to 12:00 approx. Click link on right to submit an application.

The Leisure 17 BIG WEEKEND
On the 23rd & 24th May 2026 EDYC will host a two day sailing event for Leisure 17 boats, consisting of multiple races on day 1 and a longer pursuit race on Day 2. Click link on right to submit an application.

EDYC will host the Irish Open Wayfarer Races on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June. The event includes a pursuit race for both Wayfarer and Wanderer classes. Wanderers will start first. Wayfarers may choose either an early (first) start or the Irish Open (second) start in each race. Prizes will be awarded for the Wayfarer Irish Open (second start), the Wanderer class, and first start boats. Temporary membership will be available from Tuesday 16th to Tuesday 23rd June, giving non-members access to the club and facilities for cruising on Strangford Lough with members.
