Family Fun Session

Family Fun Session of 60 minutes duration for a family of up to 6. A relaxed session on the Care Farm where the family can explore and meet all animals, there is an option for a short ride on the horse/pony included. Facilitated by one of our experienced coaches.

Therapeutic Session -one person

Therapeutic Session of 60 minutes duration for one person. This session is for children/adults who may have additional challenges/needs or disabilities or who would benefit from some extra support and attention. The approach is person-centred to meet the rider's needs at their own pace - this may include balance, core muscle strength, co-ordination, motor skills, communication skills, focus and attention span, following verbal/non verbal instructions, following a schedule, turn-taking, emotional regulation .

Riding instruction - one person

This is a riding lesson of 60 minutes duration for one person. It is suitable for children/adults with effective verbal communication, engagement and focus who can sit independently on the horse with balanced position for the duration of a whole lesson and who would like to interactively acquire the skills to ride as a sporting activity, with the view to riding independently or even taking part in ride outs, sporting events etc. Activities included in this lesson are preparing the horse for riding, riding .

Therapeutic Family Care Farm Session

Therapeutic care farming session - same approach as therapeutic sessions for 1,2 or 3 children/adults but specifically designed to cater for e.g. parents or other adult family members accompanying their children - to support the children emotionally/socially and to also gain benefit from the therapeutic nature of the session. For up to 2 adults and 2 children. This session offers additional targeted support - be it physically, emotionally, cognitively, socially and is paced to suit the participant's needs.
