Expression of Interest for KHPC Pony Race @ Punchestown on 2nd May 2026
Riders must be 12yo, or in their 12th year & under 15yo on 1/1/2026; riders must have their C Test by the 27th April 2026; Riders must agree to attend all assessment & training sessions organised for this race. Ponies must be at least 4 yrs old; ponies cannot be thoroghbred; owners must agree to the IHRB Vaccination schedule for the pony (should additional vaccinations be required it is hoped to have these sponsored); Pony & rider combination must have attended at least 3 pony club rallies in 2025/2026. KHPC Junior Disco - Friday February 6th from 7pm - 10pm
A social event for all members to kick off the year. Fun and relaxed evening for KHPC members with the added benefit of not having to worry about washing, plaiting and transporting ponies! There is no age restriction. Members of neighbouring pony clubs are welcome. Location - Newbridge Rugby Club, Rosetown, Newbridge W12Y279 . KHPC will provide some casual hot food for the kids. A tuck shop will be open for snacks/treats so bring a few euros for that if desired. Disco will take place in the function room, while the main bar will be open for parents only. A parent/ guardian must stay at the club for duration. Note entries are not open for this event.

Spring 2026 Showjumping & Dressage Training Leg 1-Sat 7th March
These 3 training weeks (7th, 14th, 21st March) will be held in Coilog Equestrian centre. Final 28th March. Two separate disciplines will be catered for Showjumping and Dressage. Clear round Showjumping will be from mini-X poles to 1m. Dressage Tests will be Irish Pony Club Combined training tests. Riders can enter Showjumping or Dressage or both. Riders can also avail of a second round for showjumping. Each week you can take home your Dressage test results to help improve for the following week. These weeks are to give all our club members an introduction to dressage and to encourage our riders to be as ready as we can be for the Area 2 Qualifier which will be held in Coilog 4th May. *All Dressage tests and info for Combined Training and Area 2 Qualifer can be found on KHPC website. Note entries are not open for this event.
