Minimus - Expression of Interest
It's MINIMUS time again. A fantastic event for our members aged 11 and under on the 1st of Jan in year of competition. Running 1000 Metres on grass, Swimming as many lengths as possible in 2 minutes. XC Course Max Height 80cm with nice option fences. X country training will begin once weather permits - lane swimming weekly in Aura on Wednesdays. Training Minimus Competitions take place March / April / May. Minimus Championships take place over a weekend in June - running & swimming one day, cross country the other. The Irish Pony Club is a leading junior equestrian organisation. We, at the West Waterford Pony Club, are a branch of the Irish Pony Club, which is part of this fantastic World Network. Our Members tend to come from West Waterford and East Cork but anyone is welcome to join. Ponies and riding is obviously at the heart of our club but we also emphasise the social aspect of being part of a club and children often make lifelong friends.
